Long term visas There are numerous ways that you can stay in Thailand long term; you can apply for an ed visa by enrolling in a government-approved Thai language course or learning MMA at a certified gym. If you are over the age of 50, you can apply for a retirement visa, which can be renewed annually. Some entrepreneurs apply for a tourist visa, which is valid for 60 days and it can be extended a further 45 days, which might be enough for your schedule.
